Your mission

You need to build modern CityShare smart platform for bike, car, or any other vehicle sharing. It should be built with concept of easy usage for customers, easy administration, and operation in mind. System should be prepared to utilize the latest technologies as ML and AI.

Overview

The CityShare platform allows people (users) to rent a bicycle, car, or any other vehicle type supported at one of the many automatic rental stations scattered around the city, use them for a short journey and return them at any station in the city. Any city (customer) around the globe can join the platform and use the platform services. Services offering is flexible, so a city can choose from available services. Users can use the CityShare platfrom services in any city which is the platfrom tenant.

Possible future extensions

  • We see potential to extend the CityShare platfrom by offering boat rental service.
  • We think about offering long term rental service spanning multiple days even weeks.
  • It would be nice Users can book bike or other subject in advance for concrete time and date.

Challenges

  • How to achieve that there is always a free slot at the destination rental station, so users can return bicycle, or other rental subject?
  • How to achieve that there is always vehicle for rent at the rental station?
